WDGA – Absolute encoders from Wachendorff
The absolute encoders of the WDGA series are characterized by high robustness, long life, and modern technology. They use a magnetic sensing principle, which makes them significantly more resistant to vibrations than traditional optical absolute encoders. The series is available with both single-turn and multi-turn models.
Wachendorff's patented technologies – QuattroMag® for the single-turn range and EnDra® for the multi-turn range – allow for several million revolutions without mechanical wear or overflow. They offer a single-turn resolution of up to 16 bits and a measurement accuracy of ±0.09°, combined with an impressive dynamic behavior of 50 µs.
