OPTEX FA
Together with our new original manufacturer, we can offer, for example, laser sensors and IO-Link masters with performance beyond the ordinary. The manufacturing takes place in Japan and the products are of the highest quality. OPTEX started manufacturing photoelectric sensors in 1985, then as a joint venture with one of the world's largest sensor manufacturers (SICK AG).
In 2002, the organization became independent as the current OPTEX FA CO., LTD with headquarters in Kyoto. Through technical development and expertise, along with extensive experience of collaborating with the major sensor supplier, OPTEX has created its own brand, FASTUS.

Programmable inductive sensor
Smart sensors are the latest generation of IO-Link sensors that support IO-Link version 1.1 Smart Sensors Profile 3.3. The sensors are fully programmable via an IO-Link master.

Japanese performance, now in Sweden!
Number 1 in the world with eerie linearity down to ± 0.015% F.S. With ATMOS image sensor and customized light receiving elements, the accuracy has been increased by 3.3 times compared to conventional principles. An advanced algorithm eliminates response delays and enables real-time measurements.

Area sensor with ±4µm repeatability.
Laser area sensor with a 10mm measuring range and 0.4% linearity. The transmitter and receiver can be placed up to 300mm apart from each other. A problem solver for many applications such as advanced edge guidance, measurement of hole diameter, and more.

Optical sensors
We offer cost-effective photoelectric sensors, ranging from compact standard sensors to exclusive models with performance beyond the ordinary.

A pyrometer is a type of thermometer used to measure high temperatures without direct contact with the object being measured.
IR temperature sensor with non-contact detection. Including models for high temperature up to 1000°C or with ring laser for easier handling.

Time of Flight
Extremely compact laser distance sensor with fast response time of 0.5 ms. Built-in display.
