DATASENSING S.r.l. (formerly MD Micro Detectors / DIELL) in Modena, Italy, is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of sensors.

In 1977, they introduced the very first M18 optical sensor, which has since become a world standard and one of the most popular sensor models. HEMOMATIK has been collaborating with Datasensing since 1975, and together we launched the M18 optical sensors under the brand name DIELL. Initially, everything was manually assembled with hole-mounted circuit boards, but today all production is done in Datasensing's surface-mounting machines or with their own developed ASIC.

The sensors are characterized by the good relationship between price and performance. The efficient production at Datasensing means that their sensors are marketed under a large number of other brands. Together with HEMOMATIK, global agreements can be signed and customer-specific sensors can be made with the machine builder's part number so that they maintain contact with the end customer for a long time.

Optical sensors with DECOUT® output signal (e.g. MS series) have PNP/NPN, NO/NC selectable options, which facilitates, for example, inventory management. Sensors in the extensive FA series are also available as cost-effective models with laser light.

Since some time back, we also produce ultrasonic sensors and can now offer a complete range. The sensors are already available under a different brand name from one of the world's largest sensor manufacturers.
