Contrinex SA is one of the world's leading manufacturers of inductive sensors.

HEMOMATIK has been collaborating with Contrinex since 1975, and together we launched the M4 and M5 sensors, which have since become the world standard. Initially, everything was assembled manually under a microscope, but today everything is done in Contrinex surface mount machines or with self-developed ASIC.

Sensors in the series 600, 700, C23, etc. have now, since 2015, despite small dimensions, built-in IO-Link as well as a flashing LED outside the standardized contact distance. The standard states that the distance can vary up to 20%. Contrinex sensors are positioned at the specified distance, near ±1%.

In 1980, Contrinex launched the Condist technology, which provided a series of sensors with 3 times the standard sensing distance. Despite the patent expiration, Contrinex remains unmatched thanks to feedback temperature compensation in the oscillator.

Contrinex has been manufacturing the 700 series in homogeneous stainless steel (Condet technology) for 25 years. This series is IP68 and pressure-resistant up to 100 bar, with no reduction factor for different metals + 3 times the standard contact distance, providing 7 times longer distance compared to Al, Cu than other sensors on the market. Of course, this series costs a little more, but it is cheaper than a replacement.

We have examples of applications where savings of hundreds of thousands of kronor have been made through reduced downtime.
